A true master of composition by combining, ftting and assembling, Vasarely interchanged colours, shapes and visually dazzling geometric systems. Under the curatorship of Serge Lemoine, the exhibition is a unique tribute to this great artist, revealing the talent of a great painter of singularly fruitful and radically modern works ? now and forever.

Within the exhibition Vasarely:

LAb[au] is an artist-trio constituted of Manuel Abendroth, Els Vermang and Jérôme Decock. Their work displays the themes of colour, light, form and motion and is characterized by concepts and systems. LAb[au]'s experimental and innovative art practice focuses on fundamental research on contemporality in art while questioning nowadays materials, tools and methods. LAb[au]'s feature outlines Vasarely's heritage by confronting the patterns emerging from physical and optical motion.
