The installation osc1ll0 has been conceived as an entrance gate for the new theatre house, a former industrial silo, while it underlines the new pedestrian waterfront along the Marseille harbor. The installation is a kinetic light sculpture of 256 balancing light sticks oscillating according to water tides and the activity of the new cultural facility. Its motion, colors and light play mirrors urban activity and flows, as it transforms the residual space of infrastructure, the downside of a highway viaduct, into a public space.
